If you can only visit one national park in Utah, Bryce Canyon is it. The prettiest views are closest to the Visitor Center: Sunrise, Sunset, Inspiration, and Bryce Point. Any of the trails at these points are well worth the hike up and down. The most popular hiking trails are Queen’s Garden Loop and the Navajo Loop trail which will get you up close and looking up at the red hoodoos (irregularly-eroded rock spires). One interesting thing to note about the hoodoos is that they are changing. Old ones crumble away and new ones are created from the environment. Once you visit all Bryce Amphitheater viewpoints my last recommendation is the Rainbow Bridge viewpoint. According to the map, the park road is only 18 miles long, but crowds are definitely an issue. A shuttle runs during April – October due to tourist mob and various tour buses. Get there early or late is the key to getting a parking spot.
